I'm Leigh.
I've always loved mucking about with a pencil, which led me to work as an advertising art director and illustrator.

I've shown my paintings in London, Spain and Hong Kong, I was a finalist in the Scottish Portrait Artists Award 2020, 2021 and 2024, a runner up in the Jackson's award 2025, and I'm proud to be a part of Sky TV Portrait Artist of the Year, where I was lucky enough to paint the lithe and lovely Alexa Chung.

 

My main interest is people and portraits, in any media - they are all fun.

This website is my version of an old studio in Paris...high windows, half completed canvases, paint tubes and charcoal, the wonderful scent of linseed oil... It's where I store my paintings, come and have a mooch.
